Cranleigh Art & Crafts Society

WELCOME TO THE CRANLEIGH ART & CRAFTS SOCIETY

founded in 1968 by Joy Attwell

We meet regularly at the Band Room in Village Way, Cranleigh, GU6 8AF on Saturdays from 2.30 to 4.30pm

Now in its 50th year the Society still continues to welcome and encourage those interested in art and crafts, whether experienced or absolute beginners. To this end all members can exhibit at our Exhibitions, Craft Market, join Outings and informal indoor and outdoor Painting Days.

Ten Demonstrations are held each year sometimes introducing new artists and techniques such as a recent one on the art of 'trompe l'oeil' [deceiving the eye] as well as seasoned favourites including Soraya French, Chris Forsey, Steve Hall and Stephen Hawkins.

We are happy for visitors to join us at any of these demonstrations with a £3 donation. Yearly membership is £20 single and £25 family. From 1st July half year membership is £10 and £12.50 respectively.
